Tomorrow marks World Fair Trade Day, which each year sees people from around the world join together to campaign for the rights of small producers, farmers and artisans.

This year, World Fair Trade Day (Saturday May 14) will be commemorated at hundreds of events in more than 70 countries.

Oxfam Australia will be marking World Fair Trade Day in Melbourne with an appearance by a visiting Fairtrade and organic tea producer from Sri Lanka, Senarath Yatigammana, at one of our Melbourne shops.

Photo and interview opportunity: Senarath Yatigammana, Sri Lankan Fairtrade tea producer, at Oxfam Shop Southland, 12-12:30pm tomorrow (Shop 3060, Westfield Southland, 1239 Nepean Highway, Cheltenham).
