Places are now available in the Oxfam Anzac Kokoda Challenge 2015 to commemorate 100 years of the ANZAC spirit and support those living in poverty.

The Oxfam ANZAC Kokoda Challenge is a unique adventure travel experience from 22 April to 3 May 2015, giving people the chance to take part in one of the world’s greatest walks, all while raising money for Oxfam’s life-changing work.

For anyone interested in retracing the footsteps of brave Australian soldiers along the infamous Kokoda Track, or who want a travel experience with a difference, this is could be for you.

The 12-day trip will see participants trek 96 kilometres along the Kokoda Track through rugged mountain terrain, tropical rainforest and unspoiled villages, and by night you’ll camp in some of Papua New Guinea’s most remote jungle regions. 

The trip will conclude with a visit to the Oxfam office in Port Moresby where participants will learn from local Oxfam staff about the work they are doing in the region.

To register to take part in the challenge, you must be at least 18 years of age and be willing to raise a minimum of $3,500 for Oxfam.
