Oxfam Australia understands the body found by police today in Fawkner was that of our valued and dear colleague, Talha Wahab, who went missing 17 days ago.
We are deeply saddened by this news. Tahla was a well-liked and highly regarded member of Oxfam, and he will be greatly missed.
Our deepest condolences go to his family and friends at this terrible time.
We’re continuing to assist Talha’s family as best we can.
