We are shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Jenna Downes.
Jenna worked with Oxfam Australia as our Security and Logistics Coordinator from January 2016 to January 2017. During this time, she supported many Oxfam country teams and was a critical member of our humanitarian team, including being deployed to support Oxfam’s response in Fiji in the aftermath of Cyclone Winston in 2016.
Jenna was a passionate humanitarian worker whose work supported communities in preparing for, and recovering from, emergencies across the Pacific.
Our thoughts and sympathy go to her family and children during this difficult time.
