More than 1400 people of all ages will set off on a 100km walk tomorrow morning to raise money for Oxfam Australia’s work to fight poverty around the world.
What: In one of the most gruelling charity endurance challenges, 350 teams of four will walk or run 100km through D’Aguilar National Park in the 2nd annual Oxfam Trailwalker Brisbane this Friday.
Celebrity chef Simon Bryant, from ABC’s “The Cook and the Chef”, will be cooking chocolate muffins using Oxfam ‘fair’ products at Foodland, Norwood (161–169 The Parade, Norwood), on Monday 7 May 2012, hourly between 10am and 2pm.
